YMCA, Zion Lutheran Church Offer After-School Programs to Local Students

Students attending Anoka Middle School of the Arts can now join a free after-school program through Zion Lutheran Church and YMCA. ?

Beginning this month, YMCA will offer programs from 3-5 p.m. Tuesdays and Thursdays at Zion. Pastor Mark Tiede says the church has a gym for basketball and a youth room for homework or mentoring. All volunteers will be subjected to background checks.

Zion Lutheran Church is part of the Anoka-Hennepin School District, Faith, and Community Partnership.
