Teixeira has gone on record saying he hit Anderson with a three-punch combo to the body in the first round and that made him retire. He claims it was a liver punch that made Anderson not return for a second round Anderson Silva has a TKO boxing loss that happened in 1998 against "Osman Teixeira". In this report, Teixeira said that he hit Anderson with a three punch combo to the body which made him retire and not come out for the second round. (Read more on that here) However recently, the President of the Federation of Boxing Parana has said in a report recently that the fight was not even a legitimate fight and does not count.
