the initial licensure programs and advanced program in Curriculum and Instruction, beginning in the fall of 2013, at the Tusculum College
sites at Knoxville and Morristown. Responsibilities include teaching courses in K-6 math and science content pedagogy, courses in curriculum
and instruction, and other courses as assigned by the Department Chairs such as foundations of education, classroom management, assessment,
instructional strategies, and planning. Additional responsibilities include service to the college and community, professional development
and scholarship activities, and advising, as well as departmental and committee duties.
QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS:
Minimum qualifications: Terminal degree in the field of education; 10 years of experience as a public school teacher or administrator; a strong commitment to teaching; and a demonstrated interest in scholarship. Preference will be given to those with successful teaching experience at the college level.
